Circle of Friends is a support group for people with disabilities, family and friends.

It is important to know that you are not alone and that there are others who are experiencing or have experienced similar challenges.  We would like to bring our constituents together and provide you with a common platform to share your issues. Having a disability can add a lot of stress onto a person’s life. This group is new and we would like your feedback and suggestions at floyd_s@tndisabilty.org.

We meet monthly, the 4th Thursday from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Center for Independent Living of Middle Tennessee, 480 Craighead St., Suite 200 conference room 1.

This Month’s Topic: Personal Assistance, Medicaid Waiver and Community Options Program and Home and Community-Based Services

Presenter: Mark Singer, Aging and Disability Resource Connection

Date: Thursday, August 23, 2007
