Senator Henry Receives Award at RTF

In the midst of the Road to Freedom Tour across Tennessee several legislators were recognized for their work in the General Assembly on behalf of people with disabilities.  In Nashville that honor went to Senator Douglas Henry who was joined at a press conference by new Nashville Mayor Karl Dean.

Adapt a Toy Day For Children with Disabilities

On December 1st, 2007 volunteers and staff from the Technology Access Center will be on hand to assist with shopping for adaptable toys for children with disabilities as well as perform on site adaptations of toys.  More complex toys may need to be adapted at the TAC offices — for no charge.
