Position Description

  • Assist the Executive Director in administrative tasks
  • Part-Time (20-30 hrs/ week)
  • Flexible Hours
  • Report to the Executive Director

Responsibilities

  • Work with all vendors regarding supplies and equipment
  • Maintain the data base; data entry
  • Keep the office neat and well stocked with supplies
  • Work with the Education Series Director and Education Committee regarding scheduling, needed materials, invoicing, and evaluations for the Education Series
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Coordinate mailings
  • Process accounts payable
  • Assist in the coordination of ASMT events (fundraising, educational, trainings, etc.)
  • Take reservations for ASMT events
  • Maintain organization’s files
  • Copy, collate, and disseminate information to volunteers, board members, other staff, and community members
  • Assist in information gathering (online research)
  • Draft memos and other documents for the Executive Director
  • Work closely with the Parent Representatives as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Qualifications

Need to Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years experience in administration
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Self-motivated individual who is a team player, but can work independently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and the Internet

Nice to Have:

  • An understanding and familiarity with autism spectrum disorders


Salary: Negotiable based on experience
