Tennessee Needs 180 Commitments by Next Week for Breast Cancer Awareness Plate to Become Reality
If you are interested in purchasing one of these beautiful plates to support breast cancer education and research, please contact the Susan G. Komen office. You will receive the formal application by mail, and a $35 fee will be required with your application. You must have a valid Tennessee Drivers License and own a vehicle in order to purchase this plate.
Please know that this is still in the final process of approval. 1,000 plates must be pre-sold by June 26, 2008 before they will go into production. With only a few days left before the deadline, the organization is still 200 plates short of meeting the required pre-sale number. If they do not meet the required 1,000 minimum, your $35 will be returned to you. If the minimum requirement is met, production will begin and you can expect to receive your plate sometime in late 2008.
