Due to a budget shortfall caused by spiking fuel prices, the Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) and Davidson County is considering the following changes:

eliminating routes, including night service
eliminating weekend and holiday service
eliminating Night Owl service
reducing number of runs
raising fares
