We hope that you had a chance to participate in the 6th annual Disability Advocacy Day on March 11th. All over Tennessee landmarks lighted up blue. Advocates worked to get local proclamations, and we celebrated our collective action.
Visibility is an important step in breaking down barriers in a world not always built for us. We show up. We speak up. We follow up. And most importantly, we stand together. That is how change happens. Thank you for standing with us.
The General Assembly is continuing its work, and we are continuing our advocacy. Committee calendars long, and some bills are falling by the wayside.
You will note some changes in our bill tracker. Bills that have been passed into law have been removed from the tracker. Next week we will begin to drop those bills from 2025 session that could have come back up but have not. We hope this will help you concentrate on those bills that are still active on the calendar.
