Committee Calendar Week of Feb 23-27

Last week, we updated folks that the House of Representatives has canceled all committee meetings this week (Education, Transportation, etc.) except for the Finance, Ways & Means Committee.

The House Finance, Ways & Means Committee will be hearing department budget presentations this week.

On Wednesday, Feb 25th, during Disability Day on the Hill (DDH), this Committee will hear from TennCare and a list of other departments that directly affect the lives of Tennesseans with disabilities. The list is included in the DDH Feb 25th Committee Calendar The committee will begin meeting at 9am CT in House Hearing Room 1 and go until they’ve heard all presentations. The committee hearing is open to the public.

The Senate will be meeting in committees as usual. There are three committee hearings on Wednesday, Feb 25th that have disability-related bills on the schedule. This information is also included in the DDH Feb 25th Committee Calendar file linked above.
