It has been quite a week! I hope you were able to join us for Adventures in Access at Disability Day on the Hill (DDH). It was extraordinary! We showed up. An estimated 475 people attended DDH at the Cordell Hull building. We met face-to-face with legislators and attended committee meetings. We were seen. Our voices were heard.

This week was a bit unusual because the House suspended committee meetings except for the House Finance Ways and Means committee. One consequence is that the House Committee Calendars for next week are long.

Calendar Week of March 2

The General Assembly is planning to finish up in early April so that fundraising and campaigning can begin. To help you streamline your research and review on bills, we have made a few changes and enhancements to our Bill Tracking Report.

February 27, 2026 Bill Tracking

  • If a bill is on a committee calendar for the next week, that status is highlighted in yellow.
  • If there is new amendment language added during the week, it is noted with a green highlight.
  • If a bill has a significant change in status, if it has been withdrawn or passed, and no further action will be taken, it is highlighted in blue. Those bills will move off the tracking report.

Remember, there is a hyperlink next to each bill in our report. You can use that to go to the General Assembly website to learn more about that bill.
